How to Get a Home Visit In NYC
Cady McVay and Neisha Streete are both brilliant IBCLCs on the Go Milk Yourself team. They see patients for home visits in the NYC area Monday thru Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
Home visits are $200.
Depending on your location & urgency, home visits are booked approx 2-7 days out.
There's a travel fee for your home visit. It's $125. You'll pay the travel fee before booking.
Here's how to book:
First, pay for your visit & submit the request form. We'll get back to you within 2 business days with your appointment time. Easy peasy!
But wait! What about insurance?!

If you have Cigna, you'll pay $0 + travel fees for your home visit.
If you have one of the insurance providers pictured (click to enlarge), you're likely to get home visits from us for $0. To confirm, you'll need to submit a request through The Lactation Network (TLN). Typically, we'll both hear back in 1-5 business days.
Don't want to wait? We don't blame you! You can self-pay & book your visit, then submit the TLN form. It's $200 + travel fee (invoiced, if applicable). If you're approved, we'll reimburse you approximately 2 weeks after your visit.
Have insurance not listed above?
No problem! Simply pay $200 + travel fee (invoiced, if applicable) & we'll bill your insurance on the back end.
If your insurance covers any or all of your visit, you’ll be reimbursed up to what you paid less a $30 billing fee. (The billing process usually takes 30-45 days.)
What if I'm not available during the time I'm assigned?!
No worries! We've got your back - and your boobs!
1st, you'll be able to list days/times you're not available right on the request form.
2nd, you should have plenty of time to reschedule according to our policy. So make sure to let us know right away if there's an issue!
